Newspaper Ad Mats from Argentina
Here are some ad mats from the mid-eighties. In 1985 hardcore was still illegal to distribute in theaters in Argentina except in a city resort for holidays called Mar del Plata (500km from Buenos Aires). There was a huge tourism explosion in the city when this kind of movies came around. Like Caligula, which remained for 2 years in the same theater.
Anyway this is my first attemp to post images, I hope it works. I have tons of ads mat from Argentina (and also some very rare ads from Greece), not only porn but exploitation. I would like to post them all in the future. Thanks! |

A little bit out of topic, but a I cound't not resist to post the argentinean ad for one of my favorites movies of all times. This was released in 1985 and played for only two weeks some theater near downtown.

Was Jennifer Welles popular in Argentina? Funny to see Oshima's In the Realm of the Senses listed, anyone going to that thinking it was your usual porno was in for a rude awakening!

I Have more (much more) ads to post, but most of them are sexploitation (from Italy, France, Spain, Germany and a lot very rare from Brazil) and not hardcore. Should I continue post them here or in the Drivein/Exploitation forum?,

So many ads, so little time. I'll try to post everything I have, but a need time.
Here we go: "Black Aphrodite" (Greece/Germany, 1977) was realeased in Buenos Aires with the title "Afrodita Negra" in November, 1986. Here are some ads and some reviews from newspapers from the era. |
