Re: ''Gone with the Pope'' trailer

I wonder if the two hitmen in MASSACRE... were an inspiration for Tarantino on PULP FICTION? The black suits, and the religious stuff before shooting that one dude. Anybody know?

Looking forward to see this film on dvd!

If Tarantino never admitted it, I would call him a fuckin' liar.

I haven't seen MASSACRE but PF is on my all-time top-five list. Think I'm gonna see it again this weekend.

Re: ''Gone with the Pope'' trailer

For that matter, has anyone noticed that, intentionally or not, the late Robert Ludlum (creator of the Jason Bourne spy novels) essentially stole the plot of GONE WITH THE POPE for his novel THE ROAD TO GANDOLFO?

Re: ''Gone with the Pope'' trailer

any word on DVDs for both of these films? i have some crap ass DVD release that looks like a 5th gen bootleg tape for MFS, and the bonus feature is the trailer for GWTP, and the trailer has the Grindhouse name on it, i know the disc has to be a bootleg, and i am hoping that the Grindhouse disc(s) is close to being released!

Re: ''Gone with the Pope'' trailer

Still no news as far as I've heard. I'm chomping at the bit for this one. My MMS bootleg isnt' half bad for what it is, but the film needs a real legit release and GWTP looks like it could be the best movie ever.

Re: ''Gone with the Pope'' trailer

well maybe 5th gen boot tape is a bit harsh, but it isn't great, i just hope the real DVD comes out some time. this flick is a riot! and yes GWTP looks like it could be a contender for greatest movie ever!

Re: ''Gone with the Pope'' trailer

I would also like to see GWTP as well. It looks pretty over the top. I'd actually like to see more of Duke's material, the guy had talent. I thought he was great in MMS. Grindhouse needs to get on this and release both of these! There'd be a lot of folks who'd buy this, I think. Doesn't Sage Stallone post on here once in a while? Maybe we could ask him when he posts sometime. I would pay a hefty chunk of change for both of these once Grindhouse has put together a release for them.
