I keep forgetting about this, but now that (this past week) I bought myself a new DVD player memories came flooding back. Anyway, here's a link to a site some of you might enjoy...

Ernesto Kalum is a friend of my fiancee's, from Sarawak, and the man is a fairly famous tribal tattoo artist that has toured the world and made his name outside of his own little corner of the Malaysian state. Heck, he even won the H. R. Giger Award in his given art in Switzerland in 2001! If you look about his site you'll probably even recognise a few famous faces whom Ernesto has mixed it up with in his travels.
Though I have no tattoos myself, and nor would I ever get one (because it's not my scene), I thought some folk here might appreciate this...and I can certainly appreciate his art and respect for his Iban traditions, as well as passion to promote his culture to the world. I have Ernesto's first music VCD from 2003, and having a scan through it tonight (footage of his many and varied travels accompanied by his unique blend of folk/traditional/acoustic rock) couldn't help but swing by and share him with the good folk here. Enjoy! :)
